Is the first meeting really free?
Yes. The first meeting is free, with no pitch deck and no obligation. We'll tell you straight if we're not the right fit, and where else to look if so.
Do I need to come to Springwood?
Not at all. We work with people across south east Queensland by video and phone. The Springwood office is there if you'd rather sit down face to face.
What should I bring to the first meeting?
Nothing formal. A rough sense of your super balance, your retirement timeline, and what's keeping you up at night is plenty for the first conversation.
Where do I park?
Free on-site parking out the front of the shop. No meters, no time limits. You can step straight in from the car.
What does advice typically cost?
An initial Statement of Advice with us is $3,300 to $6,600 including GST, depending on how complex your situation is. Ongoing advice starts from $1,650 a year, and one-off work is $550 an hour. There's no minimum portfolio size and no asset-based fee. You get the dollar figure in writing before any work starts, so there are no surprises.
Who do you typically work with?
Mostly pre-retirees and retirees within ten years of finishing work, with super and savings broadly between $200K and $2M. South east Queensland, Brisbane south-side and the Gold Coast. If you're early career or chasing trading strategies, we're probably not the right fit.
What if I'm not sure I need an adviser?
Book the first meeting anyway. We'll walk through where you are, and if you're already on track we'll say so. People often leave the first meeting with their main questions answered, even if they don't engage us afterwards.
