How long will my super last?
Your retirement runway
Enter your figures to see your runway
Use round figures. Nothing is saved and no personal details are needed.
The line is a steady-return estimate of your super balance in today's money. The runway is not an Age Pension eligibility result.
The Age Pension may provide a baseline after your super falls, but only if you meet the income, assets and residency rules. This tool does not calculate eligibility.
Things people often miss
- Markets do not return the same amount each year. Poor returns early in retirement can shorten the runway.
- This simple estimate leaves out minimum drawdown rules, tax and one-off costs.
- Age Pension entitlement depends on more than your remaining super balance.

| Real return, balanced | 4.0% a year |
| Real return, growth | 4.3% a year |

| ASFA comfortable, single / couple | $55,923 / $78,566 |
Checked 13 July 2026. Return inputs follow the current Moneysmart account-based pension assumptions, adjusted for inflation and the percentage fee used by this estimate. Spending comparisons use the ASFA Retirement Standard, March quarter 2026.
A rough runway is useful. A retirement plan tests what happens when markets and spending do not stay steady.
